5th Grade Tessellations

For years, 5th grade students have designed tessellations for their math curriculum.  This year, they've got a new curriculum for math, and I get to bring tessellations back to my room!

We start out with a 3"x3" square, cut one edge in a random line, then tape it to the opposite side.  We do the same thing to another side, then trace the shape onto a piece of paper and color.

See instructions HERE!
